Suddenly, glory and light entered my soul. The specific focus of the entire enterprise is the neglected feature of NT theology, namely, the subject of God (theos) (p, xiv). Despite its focus on Jesus and Paul, therefore, Wright considers the project to be "also inevitably about the New Testament as a whole" (p. xiii).

Wright As regular readers of this blog will know (and I know there are more than the 2 “followers” displayed – I can see some statistics!), I have already read and reviewed volume 3 of N.T. (Tom) Wright’s magnum opus, Christian Origins and The Question of God. Likewise, in the New Testament we see that the wrath of God is still “being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans ). So, clearly, God is no different in the Old Testament than He is in the New Testament. God by His very nature is immutable (unchanging).

He is the lamb without blemish mentioned in Exodus, our high priest mentioned in Leviticus, our kinsman redeemer seen in Ruth, our perfect king in 2 Chronicles, the one who was crucified God in the New Testament book not left in Death as mentioned in Psalms etc.
